Go to your smartphone’s Wi-Fi settings, find the desired Wi-Fi name (in this case, "wiffy"), and tap it.
When you tap the desired Wi-Fi name, the "Captive Portal" will automatically launch in a special browser (non-standard browser).
Follow the displayed instructions and press the "Copy URL" button.
Next,
Tap "Cancel" at the top right of the screen, and then tap "Use Without Internet" in the popup menu.
Tap the "︙" icon at the top right of the screen, and select "Use this network as is" from the popup menu.
After confirming that you are still connected to the desired Wi-Fi, return to the home screen.
Open your usual browser, such as Chrome or Safari, paste the copied URL into the address bar, and reload the page.
Finally, use the login button displayed there to log in to the network.
Tap the icon that takes you to the Wi-Fi settings screen .
If "Auto-Login" is off, turn it "On".
If the "Private Wi-Fi Address"
setting is on, turn it "Off".
If the "Privacy" setting is set to "Use Random MAC", change it to "Use Device MAC".
With the above procedure, from next time on, you will be able to automatically log in (connect to the internet) by simply tapping the desired Wi-Fi name.
If the "Captive Portal" does not launch next time, go to the detailed settings screen of the desired Wi-Fi and turn on "Auto-Login".
If the portal still does not launch even though you are connected to the desired Wi-Fi name, try accessing it by scanning the following QR code with your smartphone's camera or QR code reader app.
